But God…

Dawn Waggoner / Executive Administrative Assistant

The last few weeks have been challenging and tiring to say the least. My husband’s mom passed away at the end of September with the funeral the second week of October. That was followed by my husband’s shoulder surgery the third week of October. Needless to say, it has been a little overwhelming at times.

But God …

As always, He has been our Comforter, Provider, and Rock. I am reminded that no matter what we are going through, all I need to do is turn to Him, approach His throne of Grace, and know that He is all I need. And just like He does with everything in life, He will use this to encourage others around us as they go through difficult times.

“I, even I, am He who comforts you.” Isaiah 51:12

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
